Nama Let It Go Aerial Arts And Yoga Studio was founded in 2020, Owned and operated by Allison Cacciotti. the NLIG studio is Located in the heart of New Hartford, New York inside Consumer Square.

When you walk through the doors of our 1,175 square foot studio, you will be met not only with modern wellness and amenities, but immersed into a one-of-a-kind experience. Our classes are tailored specifically around class size allowing each student abundant care with one-on-one instruction and guidance. the main Room comfortably accommodates the custom built aerial rig for twelve aerial silks as well as five bungee fitness cords, and Sixteen yoga mats. This not only ensures each student’s security and safety, but keeps you in the present to focus solely on your practice.

Meet Allison

 

I’m Allison Cacciotti, the founder and owner of Nama Let It Go Aerial Arts And yoga studio!  I am a registered 200hr yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance certified in multi-specialty yoga. I also hold certification in Aerial Arts as an Aerial Yoga Instructor.

I have a degree in Applied Science and have a strong background in Anatomy & Physiology as I have devoted many hours in the Operating room as a Surgical Technologist. I use this to my benefit when i’m creating sequences to target specific areas of the body.

While some surgeries are necessary, I started thinking  that many of them could be avoided with proper maintenance of our bodies. That, and the  willingness to improve my own well-being and also my loved ones led me on an adventure!

Teaching Yoga started out as a hobby and quickly;  with several turn of events happening in my life, became my passion, career, and destiny!  the idea of helping others reach their goals, build confidence, and take care of their hearts , minds, bodies, and souls all while being surrounded by uplifting support and encouragement AND actually having fun sets my soul on fire! that’s how Nama Let It Go was born and that’s how I knew something astounding was about to happen!

My personal experience with yoga has brought me peace, confidence, and the overall ability to handle everything life throws at me with an open mind, a tender heart, and a revitalized sense of gratitude.

Through my journey I realized I didn’t just want to help myself. it is in my nature to be of service, which is the driving force behind everything I do. I decided I wanted to provide a platform for others seeking those same things. joy, happiness, confidence, a place to unwind, de-stress, and develop a stronger connection to themselves. Fostering personal growth, healing and transformation, All while having a blast!

Gentle forms of exercise are a great place to start, but remember to always consult with your physician if you have had a serious injury to get the ok to start any new exercise regimen.

Healthier sleep - a regular aerial yoga, traditional yoga or bungee fitness workout will improve your sleep routine ensuring you get a great night's sleep with a consistent fitness schedule.

Weight loss - Aerial yoga is the most perfect and unique way to trim the excess fat. Inversions increase your heart rate, burning more calories and fat at a rapid pace without all of the impact of traditional cardio and strength training. By engaging multiple muscle groups at once your body burns calories at a higher capacity.

Body/mind confidence - After a few aerial yoga sessions, you will have a noticeable change in your body and mind. As a matter of fact, after your first class you may notice benefits in your confidence and a major increase in your serotonin levels or happy hormones! With regular practice you will become stronger, and you will feel less fatigued. Hence sky-rocketing overall body and mind confidence boost!!

Reduce stress and anxiety - The endorphins released by performing aerial yoga and incorporating child-like fun will work to reduce overall stress levels. If you are experiencing a stressed day, a relaxing and rejuvenating aerial yoga workout is a wonderful way to relieve stress! Adrenaline builds up when we get stressed. A good workout sesh using aerial yoga equipment will work all muscles in your body and this equals the most essential way to release that extra pent-up adrenaline!

Improved coordination and rhythm - When you first start practicing aerial yoga, you may feel a bit awkward and unsure. It is perfectly normal to feel less than graceful and uncoordinated! After a short while you will be moving, transitioning, and inverting your body with a natural grace and ease. you will develop more comfort with practice. When in doubt, point your toes, it will make any pose look and feel elegant!! The most important thing to remember is that it’s how the pose makes us feel that is more important than how it makes us look.

Healthier bones and joints - As we age our bones start to lose mineral density and the risk of women in particular developing osteoporosis increases. Aerial yoga strengthens muscles, joints, and connective tissues that hold them all together. In aerial you are able to work these specified areas without putting much stress and impact on them.

 
 
  • Before the start of your first class, please submit the NLIG Waiver Form via the MindBody App/Account Sign Up

    Be sure to speak with a teacher prior to attending class if you have any concerns or conditions that might affect your health and safety when performing one of these classes. Check with your doctor before attending a class if you have any injuries or medical conditions that might be affected by an Aerial or Bungee class. Possible contraindications include:

    • Pregnancy

    • Glaucoma

    • Recent Surgery

    • Heart Disease

    • Very High or Very Low Blood Pressure

    • Easy Onset Vertigo

    • Osteoporosis or Bone Weakness

    • Recent Concussion or Head Injury

    • Hiatal Hernia or Disc Herniation

    • Recent Stroke

    • Artificial limbs or joints

    • Botox ( within 24 hours of class )

    BUNGEE STUDENTS Please Note: the bungee harness’ do have a dimension limit as well as a weight limit. You may fall within the weight range for the bungee, but the harness may not fit properly depending on your body shape.

    Please measure yourself before signing up for a class if you are questioning the fit. The dimensions are as follows- the max waist measurement can accommodate up to 49.21 inches and the max thigh measurement can accommodate anyone up to 35.43 inches.

    This is to ensure your safety and comfort in the class.

    • All students must use a yoga mat for mat and aerial yoga. You can bring one of your own, or you have the option to rent or purchase in-studio. Please leave rental mats in place for the teacher to properly sanitize after class.

    • Please allow yourself at least 15 minutes to check in and remove shoes and pick your spot, use the bathroom, and ask questions at the studio prior to class.

    • Please bring clean sandals or flip-flops for bathroom use while in the studio.

    • Please avoid wearing lotion, strong perfumes, or hair oils/products that may affect the integrity of the yoga silk.

    • Remove shoes before stepping onto the studio floor.

    • Please do not chew gum.

    • Be considerate and practice good personal hygiene.

    • Aerial yoga and Bungee classes can be super exciting!! For safety reasons, we ask that you are quiet and listen attentively during teachers instruction to avoid any injuries or accidents.

    • Listen to your body, tune in and take care of yourself during classes. If at any point you are not feeling well or are in pain, notify the instructor or take rest in childs pose on your mat or resting in a neutral position of comfort in the aerial hammock. The practice is yours so do with it as you wish and honor where you are at always.

    • Avoid practicing on a full stomach.

    • Bring water with you or you can purchase in-studio when available.

    • Please turn off or silence cell phones. Please do not leave them on vibrate as this may cause disruption to the class. We ask that you are courteous of your peers and teacher in order to reap all the essential benefits and get the best experience overall.

  • *PLEASE NOTE If unable to attend, you must cancel within 6 hours of class time. No shows and late cancellations will be charged the full price of the class that was booked.
